The Dojo Dallas: January

Glockology at headquarters

How did you bring in the new year? Well we brought it in at the biggest rap party in the city at Headquarters (@headquartersdallas) with Key Glock & Big X Tha Plug. It was wall to wall, but the atmosphere inside was crazy! 2RawQua got it popped off and by the time the ball dropped it was time for Glock to set it off. This was not a walkthrough, bro came and got it rocking. A good show combined with a dope tribute to one of Rap’s greats, Young Dolph. If you were lucky enough to make it in, you got your money’s worth. The Never Satisfied army got plenty of shots and clips to help you relive the night. Check out the links below.

Dropping Friday Jan 19th

The one and only Lardi B got together with super producer Dielog to create a dope new track sure to bring out your wilder side. Make sure you’re following both of them on IG so you can be locked in to hear the latest track. Did we mention that there’s also a music video by Matt Got Cameras? Now you know you need to have it on your mind.

Check out this recap from a show in Orlando from Lardi’s recent tour.

What about these taxes though?

Some love it and some dread it, either way we all gotta face it. The 2023 Tax Season is right around the corner. Fortunately this year the team over at The Blueprint are ready to help. Whether you’re a person looking for maximum returns or a growing business trying to deduct every cent you can, the pros at Blueprint seem to have it all figured out. We even got to shoot a fun commercial with them to help get the word out.

Toy Drive with J Kruz

Let me tell you guys about Jaxon Starling! Faced with a terminal condition, when Jaxon was asked what he wanted for Christmas, he replied that he wanted was for the other kids at the hospital to get some toys. That led to J Kruz and the Kruze for kids team to round up tons of toys to drop off! Check out what we were able to do here and learn more about Jaxon’s incredible story.

Ayahuasca: do you believe the hype?

A lot happened last month with with everyone on the team, but for me one of the most profound experiences I had was being featured in the TMZ Documentary with Soul Quest Ayahuasca Church of Mother Earth Orlando. Ayahuasca Church of Mother Earth? Yea I know that’s a mouthful and makes you raise an eyebrow, but once you look behind the curtain and see how federal regulation of an all natural, but extremely powerful psychedelic shaped the process, it will all make sense. See the only way to somewhat *legally* possess and administer ayahuasca is through the freedom of religion, but don’t for a second think that the spiritual element is there for show. The ceremony is an immensely spiritual experience and is not to be taken lightly. This isn’t for recreation, you’re about to face some things you’ve likely buried deep down and thought you were finished with. So how’d Seth and I end up on TMZ? Well they were looking for two good candidates to represent both sides of the spectrum. Someone who believed in the healing powers of ayahuasca and had participated in several ceremonies, and someone like myself, who had never participated and was maybe a little skeptical. This was one of, if not the most intense experience in my life and is something I never truly could have prepared for. Make sure you check out next month’s issue to see our video where I go into detail about the whole experience and show you what it was like.

Here’s one of my favorite pictures from a December trip to Belize! You can check out that album and pick you up a nice piece of art at this link. Download PIN: 2593
